We leverage FIL-approved technologies to automate workflow, standardize process and reduce risk. Our team owns the design, implementation and support for all our solutions - our autonomy is a key differentiator. Solutions Office capabilities include: Digitization for intake, data integration, document generation and automating integration with back office systems. We work in an agile environment and are driven by Fidelity leadership principles of being customer obsessed and strive for pace over perfection.Purpose of the RoleThe Front-end Developer within WI Solutions Office builds custom light weight solutions using React stack. Working in an agile environment, the fron-end developer interprets customers\xe2\x80\x99 need and designs/builds tool that solve business challenges.Key Responsibilities

• Refining business processes with the Product Owner to deliver optimised customer journeys using the latest industry and company front\xc2\xadend standards.Designing and delivering intuitive applications.Assist in solution design

• Collaborative working relationships with the Business as part of a global Agile team of architects, analysts and developers using Scrum.Build business logics
• Collaborating with the Product Owner, Lead UI Developer to deliver on the quarterly business objectives.Debug and resolve technical issues
• Giving your expertise as a UI SME to further Product Area and WI Technology capabilities.Provide level 2 support as necessary

Experience and Qualifications RequiredTechnical Skills:

• Proficiency in React, HTML5,CSS 3, JavaScript(ES6),TypeScript
• Experience in Node + npm
• Experience in Redux
• Experience in CSS framweworks (Foundation, Bootstrap) and responsive design
• Experience in Unit Testing and libraries like Enzyme, Mocha, react-Testing libraries
• Experience in Version Control System (Git), BitBucket
• Experience in AWS Cloud services
• Experience in development and deployment with Docker
• Experience with integrating with API services
• Exposure to Angular, Ember or Vue would be advantageous

Education (if applicable/ else, remove if not applicable):

• Bachelor in Engineering
