Key Responsibilities:
• Training Program Development: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive training programs for front desk staff at all levels, covering topics such as guest check-in/check-out procedures, reservations management, problem-solving, and use of hotel management software.
• Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and informative training sessions, both in-person and virtually, using a variety of instructional methods (e.g., lectures, demonstrations, role-playing, case studies).
• Performance Evaluation: Assess employee performance through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to identify areas for improvement and growth.
• Coaching and Mentoring: Offer individual coaching and mentoring to support the development of front desk staff and their career aspirations.
• Technical Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in using hotel management software or other relevant hospitality industry software to train staff on operational procedures and systems.
• Customer Service Focus: Foster a strong customer service culture within the front desk department, ensuring that staff understand the importance of providing exceptional service to guests.
• Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with front desk staff, management, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and collaboration.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or postgraduate degree in hospitality management or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on front desk operations and training.
• Proven track record of designing, delivering, and evaluating effective training programs.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in hotel management software or other relevant hospitality industry software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for training and development, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
