Maintain updated records of room availability and guest preferences.
Manage last-minute bookings and cancellations effectively.
3. Customer Service and Assistance:
Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously.
Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
Handle complaints and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
Anticipate guest needs and strive to exceed their expectations.
4. Cash Handling and Accounting:
Process payments, including cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment.
Balance cash drawers and reconcile transactions accurately.
Generate reports on daily revenue and occupancy rates.
Follow hotel policies and procedures for handling financial transactions securely.
5. Front Desk Operations:
Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area.
Keep inventory of supplies, such as room keys, stationery, and promotional materials.
Operate computerized reservation and property management systems proficiently.
Coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure smooth operations.
6. Safety and Security:
Monitor the lobby and public areas to ensure a safe and secure environment.
Handle emergencies and follow established protocols for guest safety.
