• Greeting visitors : Welcoming visitors and directing them to the correct person or office
• Answering phone calls : Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls
• Handling mail : Receiving, sorting, and distributing mail and deliveries
• Maintaining the reception area : Keeping the reception area tidy and presentable, and ensuring it has all the necessary supplies
• Scheduling : Scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, and accommodations
• Maintaining records : Keeping records of visitor requests, calls received, office expenses, and supply inventory
• Performing clerical tasks : Filing, photocopying
• Providing information : Answering visitors' questions and providing them with the relevant information
• Maintaining security : Following security procedures, such as monitoring the logbook and issuing visitor badges
