Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will ensure a seamless check-in and check-out experience, manage guest inquiries, and provide outstanding customer service. You will also handle booking-related requests on social media, respond to guest reviews online, and manage reservation requests via phone and email. Your role will be crucial in creating a positive first impression and setting the tone for our guests' stay.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a warm and positive experience.
• Handle all aspects of guest check-ins and check-outs, including verifying guest identity, processing payments, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys.
• Set up accurate guest accounts based on their preferences and requirements, including entering rewards program information and ensuring rates match market codes.
• Secure payment prior to issuing room keys and verify or adjust billing as needed.
• Compile, review, and manage daily reports, logs, and contingency lists.
• Process various payment types, vouchers, and charges; balance and drop receipts, and handle cash securely.
• Supply guests with directions, property information, and accommodate special requests, following up to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to fulfil guest needs and ensure smooth operations.
• Notify security or loss prevention of any guest reports of theft or safety concerns.
• Handle booking-related requests on social media platforms.
• Respond to guest reviews on online platforms with professionalism and care.
• Attend to phone calls and emails related to reservation requests, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
• Assist management in training, evaluating, and motivating the front desk team; act as a role model and first point of contact for staff concerns.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and safety procedures; report accidents or unsafe conditions to the manager.
• Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance, ensuring all communication and documentation is accurate and professional.
• Provide exceptional customer service, anticipate guest needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; handle and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma
• Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience in a customer service or front desk role. Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills (English and Hindi), both verbal and written, with proficiency in using computer systems and POS systems.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle diverse situations and resolve issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and online review management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a positive attitude, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
