Job Summary
The Front Desk Receptionist at Dr. Kamini Rao Hospitals serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. This role requires a professional, courteous, and empathetic individual who ensures smooth communication and coordination within the hospital. The ideal candidate will maintain confidentiality, demonstrate excellent customer service, and possess a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities :
Patient Interaction:
• Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Register patients and assist with completing necessary forms.
• Schedule appointments and manage the hospital's appointment calendar.
• Provide information about services, policies, and procedures in a clear and respectful manner.
Telephone Management:
• Answer and direct phone calls promptly and professionally.
• Respond to inquiries regarding appointments, consultations, and hospital services.
Administrative Support:
• Maintain and update patient records in the hospital's management system.
• Process payments, issue receipts, and handle billing queries.
• Coordinate with medical and administrative staff for smooth operations.
Facility Management:
• Monitor the front desk area to ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Ensure that information brochures and materials are up-to-date and well-stocked.
Compliance and Confidentiality:
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and privacy regulations.
• Handle sensitive information with utmost discretion.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree/diploma in hospitality or administration is a plus.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or fertility setting.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with hospital management software.
