Patient Reception and Support:
• Greet patients and visitors warmly and assist them with inquiries.
• Register patients by verifying personal and insurance details and inputting accurate information into the hospital's system.
• Provide directions and escort patients to relevant departments or facilities.
Appointment Management:
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
• Notify medical staff of patient arrivals and delays.
• Ensure timely communication between patients and healthcare providers.
Administrative Tasks:
• Answer incoming calls, manage switchboard operations, and direct calls to appropriate departments.
• Handle incoming mail, faxes, and deliveries.
• Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring it is clean and welcoming.
Billing and Payments:
• Collect co-pays or fees as per hospital guidelines.
• Provide patients with billing and payment information.
• Assist with insurance claims documentation, as needed.
Security and Compliance:
• Monitor visitor logs and issue visitor badges as required.
• Follow hospital policies for patient confidentiality .
• Report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate department.
