Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented fresher Mechanical Engineer based in Vadodara to join our BIS Recognized and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited testing laboratory. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the execution and documentation of mechanical tests, ensuring adherence to standards and maintaining the quality and accuracy of test results. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Execution: Perform a variety of mechanical tests according to established procedures and standards, ensuring accuracy, precision, and reliability.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain testing equipment and machinery, troubleshooting any issues and ensuring their proper calibration and functionality.
• Documentation: Record and maintain detailed and accurate test data, following ISO/IEC 17025:2017 documentation requirements. Prepare test reports and ensure timely submission to the quality assurance team.
• Quality Assurance: Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control measures to ensure compliance with BIS standards and protocols.
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers and laboratory staff to coordinate testing activities and contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the laboratory.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest enhancements to testing procedures or equipment to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Training and Development: Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and stay updated on industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Knowledge of mechanical testing methodologies and procedures.
• Familiarity with Laboratory standards and quality management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality results.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and testing methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with testing software and data analysis tools.
• Internship or academic projects related to mechanical testing.
• Understanding of relevant industry regulations and standards.
