Its an ideal base for exploring North India and experiencing both modern Indian life and historic charm.Role Overview:Sancta Maria is seeking a skilled and passionate French High School Teacher to join their secondary languages department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in French language instruction and experience teaching in international or bilingual settings. The role includes preparing students for IGCSE and IB French examinations and helping them develop confidence in communication, culture, and comprehension.Key Responsibilities:

• Teach French to students in Grades 9 - 12, aligned with Cambridge and IB Diploma Programme requirements
• Deliver engaging, student-centred lessons that build reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills
• Promote a deep appreciation of Francophone cultures through varied classroom activities and resources
• Design and implement assessments in line with curriculum standards
• Prepare students for IGCSE and IB French examinations, supporting all aspects of exam readiness
• Collaborate with colleagues in the language department and participate in cross-curricular initiatives
• Encourage language learning through clubs, competitions, and cultural events
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress to parents and staff
• Support the schools broader mission by engaging in school life and continuous professional development

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in French or a related field required
• Relevant teaching certification
• 2 - 3 years of experience teaching French at the high school level
• Experience with Cambridge IGCSE and/or IB French curriculum highly desirable
• Strong communication skills in both French and English
• Passionate about language education and intercultural understanding
