Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate French Language Tutor to join our team at Let's Speak in Adyar and OMR , Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the French language and a proven track record of teaching it to students of various age groups and proficiency levels. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, assessing students' progress, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach French Language : Conduct French language classes for students of different age groups and proficiency levels.
• Curriculum Development : Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and lesson plans tailored to students' needs.
• Assessment and Feedback : Regularly assess students' progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Classroom Management : Maintain a disciplined and conducive learning environment.
• Individual Support : Offer additional support and resources for students needing extra help.
• Cultural Awareness : Incorporate cultural aspects of French-speaking countries to enhance the learning experience.
• Stay Updated : Keep abreast of the latest teaching methodologies and language acquisition research.

Requirements:

• Education : Bachelor's degree in French, Education, or a related field. Certification in teaching French as a foreign language (e.g., DELF/DALF) is highly desirable.
• Experience : Previous experience in teaching French, either in a classroom setting or private tutoring.
• Language Proficiency : Native or near-native proficiency in French.
• Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
• Interpersonal Skills : Strong ability to engage and motivate students.
• Adaptability : Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Passion for Teaching : A genuine interest in helping students learn and succeed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience preparing students for French language proficiency exams (e.g., DELF, DALF).
• Familiarity with online teaching tools and platforms.
• Ability to teach additional languages is a plus.
