Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach French language and literature to IGCSE students (Grades 9-11).
2. Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with IGCSE French syllabus (0520/0716).
3. Conduct regular assessments, provide feedback, and track student progress.
4. Prepare students for IGCSE French exams.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate French with other subjects.
6. Develop and administer tests, quizzes, and exams.
7. Maintain accurate records and reports.
8. Communicate with parents through regular updates and progress reports.
9. Stay updated on IGCSE curriculum changes and best teaching practices.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's/Master's degree in French Language and Literature or related field.
2. Teaching certification (B.Ed./M.Ed.) or equivalent.
3. 2+ years of experience teaching IGCSE French.
4. Proficient in spoken and written French (CEFR B2/C1 level).
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and needs.
Desirable Qualities:
1. Experience with IGCSE curriculum and assessment.
2. Familiarity with educational technology (e.g., language learning software).
3. Training in child-centered pedagogy or constructivist approaches.
4. Certification in French teaching (e.g., DELF, DALF).
5. Knowledge of other languages (e.g., English, Hindi).
