We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Freight Forwarder to join our team in India to support our USA operations.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage international freight forwarding activities to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
• Handle all aspects of the shipping process, including documentation, customs clearance, and transportation arrangements.
• Communicate with carriers, shippers, and consignees to schedule pick-ups, deliveries, and provide updates on shipment status.
• Prepare and review shipping documents, such as bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including customs requirements and international trade laws.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers and service providers to secure cost-effective transportation solutions.
• Monitor and track shipments, resolving any issues or delays promptly and effectively.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and offering solutions to meet clients' needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure smooth and efficient logistics processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice and recommendations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Freight Forwarder or in a similar logistics role.
• In-depth knowledge of international shipping procedures, customs regulations, and trade compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, carriers, and team members effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using freight forwarding software and other relevant tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to accommodate different time zones and work schedules to support USA operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with USA-based clients or companies.
• Certification in freight forwarding or logistics
