Job Description
Job Summary:
As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for managing freight shipments, building relationships with carriers and customers, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. You will play a key role in driving operational success and maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and customers.
• Negotiate freight rates and contracts to achieve profitability.
• Coordinate and monitor freight shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Resolve any transportation issues and provide exceptional customer service.
• Manage load boards and other freight-matching platforms to secure freight opportunities.
• Track shipments, communicate updates, and address any delays proactively.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Freight Broker or in a related logistics/supply chain role.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
