The Metaverse Street Journal is a startup that's the official Media Partner of the Upland Metaverse as a UCN Broadcaster and the official Media Partner of The Sandbox Metaverse as part of the Sandbox Ambassador Program and has also been the official Media partner to The Paris Blockchain Week, WebX Asia, WoW Summit, Proof of Talk, Blockchain Life and previously the G20's Gaming Media Partner for 2023.

Role Description

This is a freelance position on-site role for a Camera operators at The Metaverse Street Journal located in Whitefield, Bangalore 560066 and nearby areas.

The Camera Operator will be responsible for camera management, broadcast management, live setup management.

Qualifications:

• Ability to use Canon XA60, Canon XA40 and Canon 1500D
• Ability to use Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro (Advantageous but not mandatory)
• Ability to use Accsoon Cineview HE (Advantageous but not mandatory)
• Ability to use DJI Ronin RSC-2 Gimbal (Advantageous but not mandatory)
• Strong skills in Camera Operations
• Experience as a Camera Operator in broadcast journalism
• A deep understanding of Camera Management
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• The ability to work collaboratively with a team of reporters, producers, and camera crew
• A Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Broadcasting, or related field in beneficial but NOT mandatory
• Previous experience in news broadcasting as a camera operator would be beneficial
• Knowledge of current events, politics, and social issues would be desired
