Job Description

:

• Analyze, evaluate and consolidate financial data sets and visualize in applications like Excel/PBI in a clear and concise way to provide and aid value added actionable insight.
• Build visually attractive templates, reports, standardize report inputs and outputs and explore all automation possibilities.
• Do standard and ad hoc trend and variance analysis for Ducted Systems Selling & General Administration (SG&A), Non-Factory Cost of Sales data and highlight areas of concern or improvement opportunities.
• Work on GMAR ( Price Volume mix analysis ) for Ducted system on Monthly / Quarterly analysis and provide bridge comments to explain PBU P&L results comparing against plan and YoY views.
• Build forecast model for ~$150M SG&A spend for Annual Plan & Monthly Outlook cycles Balance trend analysis with bottoms up input to improve forecast accuracy and strengthen linkages with PBU operations teams.
• Identify and execute SG&A cost-out opportunities and drive cross functional teams to complete projects to realize P&L savings.
• Support the PBU Commercial Finance, Business Development and Pricing teams through financial reporting and analysis
• Financial support / analysis for DX's channel support programs (Coop advertising, Consumer rebates, Sales force incentives etc.)
• Develop and consolidate periodic reports that track effectiveness of PBU's pricing strategy
• Take ownership of channel margin profitability reports and identify opportunities to improve margins in the PBU's selling channels
• Track customer revenue and EBIT performance for new accounts/channels, to confirm that business case results are delivered
• Support Product Engineering teams with reporting and analysis
• Provide reporting and analysis for DX's NPI and other engineering programs
• Improve data quality of Engineering project spend (Actual / forecast) in Daptiv
• Provide analytical support for use in business cases related to NPI and facilitate business Toll gate approvals for these projects
• Drive periodic reviews with Engineering program managers to identify & execute efficiency / savings opportunities
• Annual Tax Reporting of R&D spend to JCI's Global / US tax teams
• Support and Lead OneStream GP Governance and be the bridge between GP OS users and OS CoE team. Govern access management, govern GP change request review board.
• Deliver FCoE core values of delivering value to customer with standardization, automation and adhering all process documentation and compliance requirement, Collaborate within and across FCoE teams like RTR, OTC etc.

Requirement and Qualifications :

• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or equivalent experience in Accounting/Finance
• Graduate degree in finance, data science or business management - solid grounding in financial fundamentals a requirement
• Strong data modeling and data visualization skills in Excel and Excel VBA and PowerBI
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes and recommend solutions
• Detail oriented and with ability to work under pressure and mentally resilient
• Flexibility, patience, and ability to adapt to dynamic challenges with changing business priorities.
• Entrepreneurial and proactively thinking about potential process improvements opportunities.
• Ability to work effectively with speed, ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Continuous improvement practitioner or Lean Trained professional financial analyst preferred.
• Desire to accelerate their career path through a challenging and rewarding experience.
