  • Role is to support, maintain and enhance SAP SAC digital content in the Transportation Solutions segment BU finance area (FP&A and Operations Finance)
  • First contact for Planning report requests. Set scope, interpret for team, set tasks, and timeline/prioritize and assign within team.
  • Scope:
o All SAP BPC/SAC reports, stories, input schedules and SAP ERP variants and jobs used for extracts to feed them.
o Systems:
\xef\x82\xa7 Main = SAP SAC & BPC, SAP EC6.0, S4/Hana, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
\xef\x82\xa7 Minor = MS SQL, BOBJ, Denodo, AWS, Azure, Alteryx
  • High level of finance business acumen (relationships between figures) and excellent system knowledge to quickly deduce solutions to reporting & planning tasks.
  • Experience of high-pressure finance team environment with project management experience and team lead coordination
  • Not afraid of details, but able to communicate at appropriate summary level with management up to Finance CFO level.
  • Willing to market the team\'s expertise and gain work and credibility from within the Segment functions.
  • Able to develop themselves and the talent in the team to evolve with the expanding digital future of the finance function.
Responsibilities:
  • Independently support Customers within the financial planning teams and their business partners in other functions
  • Decide whether the best approach is to use SAC or another tool (Planning vs Analysis) and whether the process is centralized or distributed to the Data Managers
  • Prioritize and align work within team to ensure nothing is missed and deadlines are met.
  • Escalate priority conflicts for resolution.
  • Check published reports and critique for known structural changes and realignments in the business - assign urgent remediation to the team.
  • Suggest improvements or alternative views of the information to tell the business story in alignment with finance customers wishes.
  • Conduct regular VoC and ideation sessions to improve reports or delete /replace reports - know your customers.
  • Manager the user list and associated licenses
  • Manage user access security profiles to suit the business requirements and policies.
  • Manage all data interactions with the system through schedules (manual and automated) - ensure data alignment with Data Engineering team.
  • Document all process with SAC - keep up to data and look for continuous improvements including for delivery of documentation to customers.
  • Provide regular training to all users and your team members including system overviews for non-users. Ensure adequate documentation and store on SharePoint, which you own and design to suit your customers\' needs.
  • Develop Standard Dashboards, Reports, and Input Forms in SAC Stories and SAC Office Add-in
  • Develop Custom Analytical Applications using JavaScript.
  • Support Forecast Automation using Predictive Scenarios
  • Design new Models in SAC to fulfil business requirements.
  • Drive Standardization between Business Units and Regions
  • Develop and maintain robust dataflow processes into and between SAC Models
  • Develop SAC Data and Multi Actions to support Process Automation
  • Develop and maintain processes for automated Master Data updates.
  • Build complex calculations in SAC dimension member formulas and data actions advanced formulas.
  • Support migration from SAP BPC to SAP SAC
  • Assist with roll-out projects of SAP SAC to other Business Units
  • Test new SAC functionalities and implement them in our reporting.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for our SAC users.
Desired Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor\'s / Master\'s Degree in Accounting, Finance or IT
  • 6+ years of experience in developing financial planning systems.
  • SAP SAC Planning Certified
  • Hands-on experience on SAC as a planning tool and in designing/implementing planning models.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and hands on experience in developing SAC Analytic Applications
  • General understanding of U.S. GAAP and IFRS reporting.
  • Knowledge and hands on experience of SAP, COGNOS, Hyperion or similar ERP, BI and consolidation systems.
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken.
  • Strong problem solving, strategic thinking, and analytical skills. Able to picture \xe2\x80\x9csimple\xe2\x80\x9d solutions to complex business scenarios involving multiple systems and accounting disciplines across multiple regions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner and relate to colleagues at all levels and in all locations.
  • Comfortable to work in an international matrix organization. Previous experience of a multicultural environment an advantage.
