Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Founding Engineer with expertise in Full-stack development using TypeScript and Next.js. As a key member of our founding team, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, developing, and launching our platform. You will work closely with the co-founders and other team members to bring our vision to life, delivering exceptional user experiences and driving continuous innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with co-founders and stakeholders to define product requirements, technical specifications, and project timelines.
• Architect and develop scalable, performant, and secure features using TypeScript and Next.js.
• Implement front-end features and user interfaces that meet design and usability standards, ensuring seamless navigation and optimal user experience.
• Design and implement back-end functionality, including APIs, database models, and server-side logic, to support front-end features and meet business requirements.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Work closely with DevOps and QA teams to deploy, test, and monitor applications, ensuring reliability, availability, and performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and industry developments, and proactively contribute ideas and insights to drive innovation and optimization.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Extensive experience (5+ years) in Full-stack software development, with a strong focus on TypeScript and Next.js.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, high-quality software products from conception to launch.
• Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks/libraries (React, Vue.js, etc.).
• Proficiency in back-end development using Node.js, Express.js, and relational/NoSQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
