Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Food Science Intern to contribute to the development, production, and improvement of our food products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of food chemistry, microbiology, and processing techniques.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct research and development of new food products, from concept to commercialisation.
• Optimise existing food formulations to improve taste, texture, and nutritional value.
• Ensure product compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols.
• Investigate food-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct sensory evaluations and consumer testing.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of research and development activities.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as production, marketing, and sales.
• Stay updated on food industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of food chemistry, microbiology, and processing techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
