xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xa2 Knowledge of local food legislations and operational compliance standards and documentation.
xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xa2 Knowledge regarding HACCP, food safety standards and procedures.
xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xa2 Knowledge of business operational basic processes.
xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xa2 Broad knowledge about the local market environment and food safety expectations from customers today and tomorrow to secure that commercial and service offers meet customer demands and needs.
You should have the ability to understand the complexity of the IKEA business and the role of food safety as an important and integrated part of the business. You should possess good leadership capabilities including ability to lead peers and stakeholders while communicating in an inspirational way with an IKEA tone of voice. Ability to multitask and adjust priorities and make decisions with speed and simplicity. Ability to follow up and measure performance of output and capture learnings to improve planning and performance moving forward.

You should be passionate about the food business and exploring new and innovative opportunities and be energised by contributing to the IKEA sustainability agenda and be passionate about food and creating a high- quality, affordable, and unique culinary experience for IKEA customers.Your responsibilitiesYour Job Specific Responsibilities include:xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xa2 Responsible for securing compliance and food safety framework and standards, WoW (Ways of Working), and tools for the IKEA Food areas and selling solutions in the unit.
xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xa2 Be an active partner to the store commercial team by securing the food safety compliance in all food activities and events.
xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xa2 Actively cooperate with all key stakeholders within the Food team to secure integration and a common approach.
xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xa2 Support stakeholders on ensuring the implementation of local legal legislation on product specification, labelling, import (if applicable) and other related processes.
xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xa2 Liaise with external companies and authorities ensuring food safety compliance and verification activities e.g. HACCP certification, microbiological, and other food safety related analyses or tests.
xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xa2 Ensure regular HACCP/ISO certification on a unit level and actively contribute to the country agenda. Take an active role in supporting the process of food safety and compliance audits.
xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xa2 Secure clear internal communication on food safety and compliance. Facilitate with knowledge transfer, training, information and sharing to, and between, the unit Food team.
