Key Responsibilities
• Guest Service :
• Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements.
• Provide detailed information on menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating to the supervisor when necessary.
• Ensure guests have an outstanding experience, addressing their needs promptly.
• Order Taking & Serving :
• Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately.
• Ensure food and drinks are served promptly and at the correct temperature.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, dietary restrictions, and drink pairings.
• Preparation & Setup :
• Set up tables with clean linen, silverware, glassware, and other required items.
• Ensure the restaurant area is clean, organized, and well-stocked for each shift.
• Billing & Payments :
• Present bills to guests and handle payments as required.
• Manage transactions with accuracy and handle cash/credit responsibly.
• Collaboration & Support :
• Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to provide seamless service.
• Assist colleagues and maintain a positive work environment.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Compliance & Training :
• Follow hotel policies and service standards.
• Attend training sessions on customer service, safety, food handling, and hotel procedures.
Qualifications
• Education : High School diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus.
• Experience : Previous experience in food and beverage or hospitality is preferred.
• Skills :
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle guest requests and complaints calmly and professionally.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and food safety standards.
