Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented F&B Steward to join our team at Umed Bhawan Palace, Kotah - a heritage hotel in Kota, Rajasthan, India.

Key Responsibilities:

Warm Welcome: Support in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Effective Communication: Maintain effective and prompt communication with guests and team members.

Standard Operating Procedures: Learn and understand the standard operating procedures for service standards.

Food & Beverage Knowledge: Have basic knowledge of the food and beverage menu.

Service Preparation: Prepare all back-of-the-house service points (i.e., mise en place) according to the expected number of guests for all services.

Service Standards Compliance: Ensure that service procedures are followed according to standards during operations.

Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Maintenance Reporting: Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the supervisor promptly.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the kitchen and service teams to ensure efficient operations.

Prerequisites:

Bachelor's in Hotel Management from a recognized institute.

Previous experience of at least one to two years in same role.

Proficiency in English and Hindi (both written and spoken.)

Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office and hotel management software.

Willingness to work flexible hours and rotational shifts as required.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skill.
