Job Description
Food and beverage service jobs involve a variety of responsibilities, including serving food and drinks, providing customer service, and maintaining cleanliness:
• Serving food and drinks : Taking orders, serving food and drinks, and clearing tables
• Customer service : Greeting guests, handling complaints, and providing product knowledge
• Cleaning : Cleaning tables, counters, and other areas
• Cash handling : Cashing out and reconciling cash with sales
• Supporting the kitchen : Assisting chefs with tasks like washing vegetables and plating dishes
• Stocking : Keeping bar and drink areas stocked with beverages
• Event preparation : Setting up marquees, arranging tables, and preparing event spaces
• Health and safety : Complying with health and safety regulations
