Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Food and Beverage Executive to manage the food and beverage services at our IT company. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in food and beverage operations, with a strong background in cafeteria management, specifically in an IT sector or corporate environment. The role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and beverages, and managing a smooth and efficient cafeteria service for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Cafeteria Operations:

Oversee daily operations of the company cafeteria, ensuring food is served on time and meets quality standards.

Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the cafeteria environment.

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for food orders, stock management, and regular deliveries.

Develop and implement standard operating procedures for cafeteria operations and service standards.

Menu Planning & Food Quality:

Work with the kitchen staff to create a diverse, nutritious, and cost-effective menu, catering to employee preferences and dietary restrictions.

Ensure all food served adheres to quality and hygiene standards, with attention to presentation and taste.

Maintain regular assessments of food quality and make adjustments as needed to improve offerings.

Budget & Cost Control:

Monitor and manage the cafeteria budget, keeping track of food and beverage costs.

Implement cost-control measures without compromising on quality, ensuring budget adherence.

Prepare reports on expenditures, inventory levels, and food waste for senior management.

Vendor & Supplier Management:

Develop relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of quality products.

Manage contracts for food services, catering, and other necessary supplies.

Oversee the inventory management system, ensuring supplies are replenished in a timely manner.

Team Management & Staff Coordination:

Lead and manage the cafeteria staff, including kitchen personnel, servers, and cleaning staff.

Conduct regular staff training on hygiene, food preparation, and customer service.

Create work schedules and ensure proper staffing levels during peak hours and special events.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations, including food safety guidelines.

Conduct regular sanitation checks, ensuring the kitchen and dining area are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.

Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to minimize the risk of foodborne illness and workplace accidents.

Employee Engagement & Feedback:

Gather employee feedback regularly on food quality, service, and overall cafeteria experience.

Address any employee concerns or complaints regarding food services and take appropriate corrective action.

Organize special food events, themed lunches, or seasonal promotions to engage employees.

Event Catering & Special Requests:

Manage food catering for internal company events, meetings, and conferences.

Ensure that special dietary requests are taken into account for events, meetings, and other corporate activities.

Key Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in food and beverage operations, with specific experience in cafeteria management, preferably in an IT company or corporate environment.

Strong knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and cafeteria operations.

Experience in managing budgets, vendor relationships, and controlling costs within a cafeteria setting.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate staff and manage a diverse workforce.

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in ensuring smooth operations.

A passion for food quality, service excellence, and employee satisfaction.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, or related field (preferred).

Additional Skills (Preferred):

Experience with office catering or managing food services for large teams.

Knowledge of dietary restrictions and allergies to accommodate diverse food needs.

Familiarity with nutrition and wellness programs in corporate cafeterias.
