Provide technology leadership for Fuel portfolio, develop & drive technology road map to address next generation platforms
Technical leadership and ownership for multidisciplinary systems & sub-system programs.
Develop & Execute Fuel division technology strategy, working closly with key customers, external technology partners, academia / universities etc.,
Accountable for technology maturation and delivery on program commitments, responsible for budget planning and execution.
Lead and deliver on CRA (Collaborative Research Agreements) opportunities, external consortiums, govt funding programs.
Prepare presentations / proposals for Eaton leadership on technology growth opportunities, highlight risks, external threats, competition and technology insights. Represent Eaton at customer meetings as a technology leader, drive growth and success to Eaton FMC Fuel business.
Work with external standards and certification agencies to understand policy making, influence standards, better representing Eaton interests.
Work with cross functional teams like product development, supply chain, manufacturing operations and sales & marketing for MRL and CRL maturations.
Develop tools and processes for driving operational excellence in advance technology portfolio.
Represent Eaton in external system engineering forums / commitees such as ATI, SAE, IEEE
Lead creation of strategic roadmap for fuel products, like Pumps Valves FQIS Inerting etc., . Drive related actions by collaborating with internal - external stakeholders.
Understands the competitive landscape and helps organization to design products to beat the competition
Design and develop products in line with sustainability standards and goals
Drive IP strategy for Fuel business, create new technological ideas and generate intellectual property (IP) for organization and driving competitive advantage.
Manage capacity and resources including software/hardware as part of organization profit plans
Attract, develop and retain employees to build a strong-diversified talent pool and leadership succession for the center as well as broader EIIC & global organization. Coach and motivate team members to help achieve peak performance to best of their potential.
Champion continuous capability and process improvements to support the Eaton Business System: Profit planning, Technology roadmap, Performance Management - Merit planning, Customer & Employee surveys, DFX.
Develop and maintain currency in regulatory environments and advanced technology development on global and domestic levels to guide investments appropriately
Develop a high performing, innovative, empowered and accountable culture across the Aerospace organization.
Qualifications:
Overall min 12+ years of relevant expertise and proven track record in engineering research/ analysis/ product design in multi-disciplinary areas of aero/ fuel/ electrical domain is essential.
