What you will learn and contribute to

Key Responsibility Area:

  • Subject matter expert (SME) on IMS Core/SDM/VoLTE/PaCo technology network functions like SDL, Subscriber repository, UDM/SDM, AUSF, DRA, IMC, TAS, AGW, CFX, XAG, SBC, EPDG, MRF, PCRF/Policy control, MME, SGW, and PGW
  • Hands-on experience on Nokia products will have an added advantage such as:
Voice Core # IMS/VoLTE (CFX, TAS), SBC, MRF, NEF Subscriber Data

Management/User Data Convergence # SDL/One-NDS, HSS/HLR, CSD, AAA

Packet Core # CMM, CMG, Nokia Policy Control.
  • Experience with Packet Core, IMS and SDM technology, deep knowledge in VoLTE/IMS, Signalling, Cloud and related services. 5G technology knowledge is a must have.
  • Understanding of Core Networks evolution aspects Mobile and Fixed networks as also understanding of how a roadmap influences the business to future
  • Customer drive, strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, prioritizing, decision making, self-management and pro-activity skills. Ability to drive the sales process from plan to close - identifying stakeholders, influencing decision makers, building relationships, leadership.
  • Deep understanding of protocols like SIP, Diameter, HTTP2.0 etc
  • Must have knowledge of Virtualization and Cloud concepts and related technologies (Kubernetes, Dockers)
  • Must have gone through 3GPP, and IETF specifications
  • Will be responsible for direct contribution to customer offers/bid technical solutions writing, reviewing own & attached team members deliverables.
  • Experience with SS7 tracing, ability to discuss, identify and name the notes in a typical SIP call flow and the notes in an IMS/Application Server platforms and the function of each node.
  • Ability to document the operational issues and be responsible for cleaning up discrepancies and ambiguity in the same.
  • Including validation with architects to ensure the correct call flow, clearly and accurately document and discuss the discrepancies, anomalies, or issues with the test case
  • Analyse, prepare, implement, and verify the configuration and integration of a Node / network / system
  • Emergency Handling
  • Identify and drive improvements
  • Interfacing with other Technical Teams.
Required Experience:
  • Good Understanding of IMS/SDM Networks systems
  • Good knowledge of Virtualization and Cloud concepts and related technologies (Containers, Kubernetes, Dockers)
  • Good Understanding of EPC/IMS/SDM call flows & use cases
  • Good Understanding of the presales/delivery lifecycle
  • Excellent Team Player
  • Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • MS office skills in advanced level (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to think Out of the Box and from E2E perspective.

Deliverables:
  • Working 24*7 operation shifts
  • Work as expert Fault Management, Configuration management, Performance Management.
  • Analysis of Proper call flow requests, responses and/or updates using Tracing tools to capture SIP, TCP, UDP and other LTE-EPC and IMS Protocols
  • Analysis of Telephony voice services to include call waiting, call barring, 3-way calling, etc.
  • Should be able to work during off hours as required
  • Strong interpersonal skills able to influence and motivate
  • Good Documentation Skills, able create, review and update technical SOP and knowledge documents
  • Good Presentation Skills; should be able to conduct/drive internal, team, client and vendor meetings independently.
Education Required:

Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics / Computer) or Equivalent

Experience:

12+ Years of relevant experience
