We are looking for an experienced and proactive Store Supervisor to oversee our saree, suit, and lehenga store operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a passion for traditional and ethnic wear, and the ability to ensure a high-quality shopping experience for our customers. This role involves managing sales staff, overseeing daily store activities, and maintaining product presentation to drive customer satisfaction and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Supervision:
• Lead and supervise a team of sales associates and helpers, providing training, support, and guidance to achieve store goals.
• Monitor staff performance, assist in resolving customer issues, and ensure a high level of service.
• Create schedules, assign tasks, and manage staff shifts for smooth store operations
Customer Service Management:
• Ensure customers receive a warm welcome and excellent service by overseeing the sales floor.
• Address escalated customer inquiries or complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Encourage a customer-focused environment and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction
Product Presentation and Store Maintenance:
• Maintain the store's visual appeal by ensuring all sarees, suits, and lehengas are properly displayed, neatly folded, and accessible.
• Coordinate with the helper team to refresh product displays and keep shelves, racks, and display areas organized and attractive.
• Oversee cleanliness and organization of the store to provide a pleasant shopping experience.
Inventory and Stock Management:
• Monitor inventory levels, ensure timely restocking of products, and report stock shortages or damage.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock records and prevent discrepancies.
• Assist in ordering new stock as required, considering customer preferences and sales trends.
Sales and Performance Tracking:
• Support the sales team in achieving monthly sales targets through motivation and effective sales strategies.
• Track and analyze sales metrics, and develop action plans to improve performance.
• Ensure efficient billing and invoicing processes to maintain accuracy and streamline transactions.
Training and Development:
• Conduct onboarding and training sessions for new team members to develop product knowledge, customer service skills, and sales techniques.
• Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance team performance and professional growth.
• Encourage knowledge sharing on trends, fabrics, and traditional attire to improve the team's expertise.
Store Operations Management:
• Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures, including health and safety standards.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on sales, stock levels, and other key metrics for management.
• Participate in promotional activities, special events, and marketing initiatives to drive store footfall and sales.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years in retail, preferably in traditional apparel or fashion; 1-2 years in a supervisory role is a plus.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in retail management or a related field is preferred.

• Basic computer skills for handling billing systems, reports, and inventory software.
