• Maintain daily reports on floor operations, including staffing levels, inventory levels, and any issues or incidents.
• Report to the Operations Manager or Store Manager about operational performance, any challenges, and suggestions for improvements.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports on inventory, staff performance, and operational efficiency.Supervise and lead a team of floor staff, ensuring they meet operational targets and performance standards.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
• Train and mentor floor staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks effectively.
• Ensure all team members follow safety and operational procedures.
• Provide motivation, guidance, and support to team members to ensure high morale and productivity.
• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the floor, ensuring that the area is properly maintained and organized.
• Monitor and ensure smooth workflow, identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks that may arise.
• Ensure products, materials, or resources are readily available and well-stocked in the designated areas.
• Ensure the floor and surrounding areas are maintained in a safe condition, following all health and safety guidelines.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Handle any incidents or accidents on the floor in accordance with company protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization on the floor, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Ensure that all activities on the floor are performed in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Monitor stock levels on the floor and ensure proper inventory management to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Assist with stock rotation and ensure that all stock is appropriately handled, labeled, and stored.
• Coordinate with the inventory or store department to ensure timely stock replenishment.
• Ensure products on the floor are correctly priced, labeled, and displayed.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that the floor is well-staffed and ready to meet customer needs.
• Address customer queries or concerns, ensuring a positive experience and resolving issues promptly.
• Monitor staff to ensure they are engaging with customers and providing helpful, courteous service.
