Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Firmware Tester with 6 months to 1 year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in testing firmware on embedded systems, particularly with Raspberry Pi, and possess basic Python scripting skills. This role involves validating and verifying firmware functionality, debugging issues, and ensuring the quality and performance of embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform functional, regression, and system-level testing on firmware for embedded devices.

Design, develop, and execute test cases for Raspberry Pi and other embedded platforms.

Identify, report, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.

Collaborate with the development team to understand firmware requirements and testing objectives.

Automate test cases using Python scripts to improve testing efficiency.

Analyze logs, diagnose issues, and provide detailed reports on test outcomes.

Ensure compliance with product specifications and industry standards.

Document test procedures, test results, and defect reports accurately.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or a related field.

6 months to 1 year of experience in firmware testing or embedded system validation.

Knowledge of embedded systems, especially Raspberry Pi and related hardware.

Basic proficiency in Python for test automation and scripting tasks.

Understanding of testing methodologies and debugging techniques.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and bug-tracking tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with hardware interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C) and peripheral testing.

Exposure to Linux-based systems and command-line environments.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
