Purpose of the job

The India Tech Centre takes care of Product development with detailed design, technology and product platform support. The position is responsible for developing the embedded software for Solar controllers using expert level knowledge of electronics, and process developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience in Firmware design and development using Embedded C language
• Experience in C++ & RTOS is a plus
• Experience in Bus communications like MODBUS, RS485, UART, I2C, PWM, CAN and SPI etc
• Experience in developing the LCD based applications
• Experience in developing Embedded Software for various micro controllers 8/16/32. Preferably Renesas controllers.
• Experience in real-time software design, software -hardware interaction with real time operating systems, multithreading, and event driven architectures is a plus
• Experience in developing interfaces with IOT devices is a plus
• Experience in developing the Bootloaders and Software upgrade modules
• Very Good exposure to Software development life cycle process
• Ability to understand the device functionality, Customer System requirements and arrive at the System Specifications, Software requirements
• Derive the SW HLD and LLD from SW requirement specifications
• Review the SW development artifacts (SRS, HLD, LLD, Source Code, Test Specs Reports)
• Define the functional and non-functional requirements for SW Architecture
• Perform detailed impact analysis for design changes due to defects or change requests
• Analyze the HW schematic, debug software defects, and provide solutions for the issues
• Define Unit, Integration and Functional test strategy to ensure SW quality
• Experience in FMEA, SW FMEA and Risk Management
• Experience in configuration management & defect tracking tools
• Experience in using the debuggers to trouble shoot the embedded software on the target
• Experience in using the Lab tools and Equipment's like Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyser's, Power Analysers, Current Probes and Solar Simulators etc.
• Experience in developing the firmware for the drives for Solar input/ AC Grid input is a plus
• Should be active team player and able to co-ordinate with cross functional teams Electrical and Mechanical
• Experience in detailed analysis, feasibility studies, performance analysis and prototyping, use of different protocol analyzer tools
• Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
• Experience in developing Control Systems like the Motor drive algorithms (FOC) for Induction motor/PMSM motor is a plus.
• Experience MATLAB simulations is a plus

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 10-12 years relevant experience preferably from electronics industry
• Knowledge of designing solar controller is an advantage
• Preferably working in Design & Development in Solar & Grid Input based Motor Drives from 1HP to 20HP, Grid tied Inverters & Control Simulations
