Review building plans and construction projects to ensure compliance with fire safety codes.
Monitor and maintain fire suppression systems, including sprinkler systems and fire alarms.
Staff Training:
Develop and deliver comprehensive fire safety training programs for all hospital staff, including proper use of fire extinguishers, evacuation procedures, and emergency response protocols.
Conduct regular fire drills and simulations to assess staff preparedness.
Emergency Response:
Coordinate emergency response procedures during fire incidents, including patient evacuation and staff mobilization.
Act as a key point of contact for fire department communication during emergencies.
Compliance Management:
Stay updated on all relevant fire safety regulations and ensure the hospital adheres to local and national standards.
Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, training records, and incident reports.
Risk Assessment:
Identify high-risk areas within the hospital and implement preventative measures to minimize fire hazards.
Analyze fire safety incidents to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
