• Carrying out area safety inspections.
• Arranging for the removal of hazardous waste and materials.
• Writing reports on all injuries and accidents.
• Acting as an infection control officer.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and statutes.
• Using and maintaining law enforcement and security equipment.
• Developing risk mitigation strategies.
• Investigating all injuries and accidents.
• Deciding on where to locate fire extinguishers.
• Deciding on where an emergency exit should be.
• Carrying out safety audits.
• Conducting fire drills.
• keeping on the lookout for any unsafe behavior, or breaks in regulations.
• Assessing risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations.
• Creating analytical reports of safety & Fire data.
• Inspecting production equipment and processes to make sure they are safe.
• Possessing fire investigation certification
• Having fire safety training
• Obtaining fire prevention, education or inspection experience
