: Finishing Engineer (Real Estate)

Position: Finishing Engineer

Experience: 5+ years

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution:

Supervise and manage all finishing works, including flooring, painting, false ceilings, woodwork, electrical, plumbing, and other related tasks.

Ensure the finishing activities adhere to project specifications, quality standards, and design requirements.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct regular inspections to ensure high-quality finishing and address any defects or deviations promptly.

Maintain quality control and verify compliance with construction drawings and industry standards.

Team Coordination:

Collaborate with architects, interior designers, project managers, contractors, and labor teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Provide clear instructions and guidance to subcontractors and workers.

Timeline Management:

Monitor project timelines and ensure finishing works are completed as per schedule.

Identify and resolve delays or bottlenecks in coordination with the project team.

Material Management:

Assess material requirements and ensure timely procurement of finishing materials.

Verify the quality and quantity of materials delivered to the site.

Client Interaction:

Address client requirements and preferences related to finishing works.

Ensure finishing meets client satisfaction and hand over completed areas as per agreed timelines.

Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Maintain documentation related to inspections, approvals, and handovers.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in finishing works for residential, commercial, or mixed-use real estate projects.

Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and standards related to finishing works.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints.

Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with project management software/tools is a plus.
