The role is responsible for team leadership, operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement in financial operations.Accountabilities: * Daily Team Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the P2P team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions in compliance with company policies.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure high-quality output and adherence to financial standards.
  • Escalation Management:
  • Act as the first level of escalation for team queries and the primary point of contact for business stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely resolution of issues, escalating to higher management when necessary.
  • Team Development:
  • Lead goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans for all team members.
  • Foster professional growth by mentoring, coaching, and providing regular feedback.
  • Support the recruitment process in collaboration with HR to select and onboard new team members.
  • Process Improvement and Efficiency:
  • Lead initiatives to drive process improvements, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Champion continuous improvement efforts to enhance the quality and efficiency of finance processes.
  • Ensure standard processes and best practices are followed within the team.
  • Reporting and Financial Closing:
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with IFRS, group policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Sales, Customer Care, Audit, and others.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and addressing any findings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on goals, identify issues, and improve financial processes.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and applicable regulations, identifying potential risks.
  • Mitigate financial risks by ensuring adherence to company policies and global finance standards.
  • Operational Excellence and KPIs:
  • Ensure the team meets key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Continuously monitor and assess team performance, taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Actively support the training and development of new colleagues and promote cross-skilling within the team.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
  • University degree in finance, accounting, or economics.
  • Proven experience in a finance leadership role, ideally managing P2P teams, minimum 3 years.
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes, policies, and regulations (e.g., IFRS, local tax laws).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve financial issues.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel).
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset focused on continuous process improvement.
  • ACCA certification is an advantage.
  • Experience in a shared service center or international company is highly preferable.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel).
  • SAP knowledge is preferable.
  • Fluent English (verbal and written).
