Must Haves Experience - 8 - 15 Year Qualified Charted Accountant/ Company Secretary /I.C.W.A.I./ C.F.A. & L.L.B Venture Capital (VC fund) Description Should maintain detailed books and records for investment funds and management company entities. Perform monthly consolidations, financial reporting, and budgeting for the entities. Prepare full sets of accounts, calculate funds & IRR as well as prepare regular investor reports. Provide support to the investment team in deal execution and portfolio monitoring. Manage all the compliance and tax requirements for the fund as well as employee expenses and reimbursements. Develop and control financial controls and procedures for the company as well as develop structures for efficient reporting and financial management. Vendor Management, audit coordination and liaising with bankers and maintaining relationships with external vendors including tax consultants and service providers Ensure timely and correct filing of statutory payments and returns Budgeting and cash forecasting by estimating cash requirements for business operations Understanding of deal agreements Should clearly work with investment team in reading and finalising the deal agreement. Prepare all the due diligence, audit reports and compliance reports according to the various legislations applicable to the organisation Job Requirements The candidate must be a Chartered Accountant by qualification. Minimum 8 years\' experience with at least 2 years in VC fund. Hands-on experience in consolidation, financial reporting, and budgeting Hands-on experience in VC fund accounting and investment processes. Strong team player with attention to detail.
