Financial Reporting Manager



Blis are looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join our Finance team on a full-time basis. The Financial Reporting Manager will play a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting for the Blis Group which has entities in 8 markets. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional to make a significant impact in a fast-paced and dynamic industry.


The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting for the Blis Group. This includes overseeing statutory accounts preparation, financial compliance, technical accounting, liaising with external auditors and external reporting in line with IFRS, UK standards and local requirements.


The role requires a strong technical understanding of IFRS, and an ability to work with local Auditors and understand regional reporting nuances, as well as effective collaboration with the global finance team.



Afternoon shift: 2 pm -10 pm IST (Mon - Fri)

Key Responsibilities


Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Manage all aspects of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for the Group ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with both local and UK standards.
• Prepare and oversee statutory accounts and regulatory submissions in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP
• Provide technical accounting advice, serving as the go-to expert for technical accounting matters, providing guidance on complex accounting issues and ensuring compliance with the latest IFRS and local accounting standards.


Audit & External Reporting

• Coordinate and manage the external audit process, acting as the primary point of contact with external auditors for the India region.
• Prepare audit schedules, respond to audit queries, and ensure the timely completion of the audit process.
• Oversee the filing of statutory financial reports in line with local regulatory requirements, ensuring all deadlines are met.


Internal Controls & Compliance


Develop and maintain a strong internal control environment, ensuring financial integrity and minimizing risks.



Technical Skills & Experience

• Qualified accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in financial reporting, statutory accounting, or audit.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ideally UK and US GAAP
• A solid understanding of technical accounting standards and their practical application.
• Proven experience managing statutory accounts, external audits, and financial compliance for a multinational organization.
• Experience in a similar role within a UK-headquartered company or a multinational organization is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and address complex financial data and technical accounting matters.
• Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process improvements and implement effective solutions.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, especially with complex financial data and reporting.
• Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple deadlines effectively without compromising quality.
• Proven experience building relationships with internal teams, external auditors, and senior leadership across different geographical regions
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a willingness to work across time zones and adapt to cultural differences within a global organization.
