Your role


Do you know what is Direct and Indirect tax? Do you know how to prepare tax forms like FORM 3CD, 3CEB?



we are looking someone:



• supervision of Day to day accounting and financial reporting
• monthly, Quarterly and yearly closure of management books as per IFRS and within strict Group timelines
• stakeholder management
• preparation of annual local financial statements of India entity as per local GAAP
• preparation Tax forms like FORM 3CD, 3CEB etc. on annual basis
• responsible for smooth conduct of Statutory/Tax Audit & resolving queries of auditors
• supporting tax assessment including preparation of necessary details/scheduled required to be filed with authorities.
• support tax filings /response with authorities with regard to assessment/notices.
• review & strengthening of internal financial controls
• ensure the GST and other indirect tax related compliances are met.
• ensure monthly governance around Balance sheet items including certification and highlighting risks if any

Your team


You'll be working in Finance team in the UBS AG Mumbai Branch. They are responsible for financial entity controlling and regulatory reporting.
Your expertise


• expertise of Accounting Standards relevant to India
• strong knowledge of the banking domain.
• prior work experience in regulatory reporting for banks & financial institution
• good exposure to Month end accounting /reporting of financial results
• good knowledge of Direct Taxes (including Transfer pricing) & Indirect taxes (GST) etc.
• experience in Strengthening financial controls
• exposure to Statutory / Tax audits
• developed /produced management reports useful for decision making.
• a pragmatic "can do" attitude
• a Chartered Accountant with 7-10 years of post-qualification experience
• a great communicator, you know how to speak with people at all levels
• an expert at building networks and connections
• conversant with MS Office & SAP
• xperienced in finance controllership activities
• prior work experience in the financials and regulatory reporting
• a team player
