Each day, you will update budgets and forecasting models and identify trends and problems. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and optimize business outcomes.

This role is contributing to the Financial Planning and Analysis in Bangalore.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Supporting the analysis of business performance versus plan and proposing improvement actions.
Performing benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar businesses within ABB.
Working with management team to understand and analyze drivers of financial performance and identifying market trends.
Preparing financial modeling for various hypotheses and analyzing impact to the organization and validating the accuracy of financial data and business information and reporting through reconciliation and review of exceptions.

• Supports analysis of business performance versus budget and forecast and

proposes improvement actions.

• Knowledge of Accounting, allocation, and reporting of functional costs.
• Planning and preparation of Budgets and 5Q Rolling Forecast
• Works with the management team to understand and analyze the drivers of

financial performance and identify trends.

• Prepares financial modelling for various \xe2\x80\x9cwhat if\xe2\x80\x9d scenarios and the overall impact

to organization.
Financial Reporting

• Supports preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business

planning, budgeting and forecasting.

• Validates accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by

performing reconciliations and review of exceptions.

• Periodic analysis of financial statements and KPI\'s such as Cash flow, Balance

sheet, Income statement.

• Process knowledge of back charging, third party accounting, issuing invoices and

tracking payment.
Information and communication

• Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data,

preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses, and
recommendations.
Optimization

• Optimizes own performance to increase productivity by developing automated

solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements.
Internal control and documentation

• Performs controls within own area of responsibility as designed.
• Maintains proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/ internal/external

audits and reviewsQualifications for the role

• Possess an enhanced knowledge SAP Module
• Good Experience in MS Office
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a Finance or Accounting, CMA/CA/ MBA
• Finance preferred
• 3+ or more year experience in Financial Planning and Analysis preferred.
• Excellent communication skills
