The role

Purpose of the role:

The Financial Controls Automation Specialist is a pivotal role crucial for integrating Microsoft Power Apps expertise into the organization\'s financial controls and compliance governance architecture. This role demands comprehensive knowledge and experience in utilizing Microsoft Power Apps alongside other IT capabilities to enhance risk management practices and internal controls. The primary objective is to develop, implement, and continually improve robust risk management practices with a particular focus on leveraging Microsoft Power Apps for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.

Roles and Responsibilities

1.Risk Management Practices:

The Financial Compliance IT specialist plays a supporting role in developing, implementing, and continuously improving risk management practices within the organization.

2.Internal Controls:

The Financial Compliance IT specialist is responsible for supporting the establishment and maintenance of robust internal control systems across all business processes and functions.

3.Compliance and Ethical Behavior:

Monitoring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and acceptable ethical behavior is a critical aspect of the role.

4.Information and Technology Security:

The Financial Compliance IT specialist will collaborate with IT and information security teams to assess and enhance information and technology security measures.

5.Testing and Reporting:

Testing is foreseen to be a key responsibility and area where Financial compliance IT specialist would dedicate most of the time and efforts.

What we need to see from you

Skills required

1.Strong Knowledge of MS office tools (MS Tables, Power Apps, Power automate, BI), ServiceNow experience

2. Risk Management Experience: Some knowledge and understanding of risk management principles, practices, and methodologies, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.

3.Internal Controls: Some experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating internal control systems to ensure the safeguarding of assets and compliance with policies and procedures.

4.Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful insights to make informed decisions and address compliance and risk-related challenges.

5.Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to convey complex compliance issues clearly to various stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, and employees.

6.Auditing and Reporting: Some familiarity with auditing principles.

Preferred Qualification

1. MBA Finance with 6 - 8 Years\xe2\x80\x99 experience.

2. Strong Knowledge of MS Office tools (MS Tables, Power Apps, Power automate, BI), ServiceNow experience.

3. Good Written/Verbal Communication

4. Stakeholder Management experience.

5. Ability to prioritize efficiently & be flexible.
