You have found the right team.As a Financial control Professional in our Finance team you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.Job Responsibilities\xc2\xb7 Manage the monthly consolidation of JPMorgan Chase income statement and balance sheet\xc2\xb7 Develop and maintain financial reports and schedules & Complete monthly general ledger reconciliation process\xc2\xb7 Control post-closing entries and consolidation adjustments\xc2\xb7 Perform various control procedures to ensure the integrity of reported financial results\xc2\xb7 Support ad-hoc requests for financial information received from across the firm\xc2\xb7 Work closely with the line of business controllers, middle office and operations areas to understand the operational impact of trading strategies and settlement practices for the businesses globally\xc2\xb7 Work with various areas to research, escalate, and clear cash and settlement exceptions in a timely manner & Work with the businesses and controllers to understand and sign off on monthly profit and lossRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills\xc2\xb7 Excellent verbal and written communication skill & organizational, problem-solving skills, negotiation and analytical skills\xc2\xb7 Excellent desktop/spreadsheet/database skills\xc2\xb7 Ability to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities & Ability to critically challenge with the goal of identifying control issues\xc2\xb7 Ability to build and maintain partnerships within the various product aligned businesses and across other corporate groups\xc2\xb7 Ability to understand business drivers and requirements and influence others to deliver solutions\xc2\xb7 Ability to quickly understand workings of a complex processing system and general ledger systems across the infrastructure and their interrelationships and dependencies\xc2\xb7 Aptitude for learning and leveraging systems and data flows & have basic understanding of the firm\'s products\xc2\xb7 Basic experience with a financial consolidation and reporting system (i.e. SAP interface)\xc2\xb7 In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or equivalent experience)Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills\xc2\xb7 CPA license beneficial in some FAIR roles but not requiredAbout Us:JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world\'s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
