Financial Controller -Team Lead -15Years- ChandigarhLocation- ChandigarhSummary: We are a rapidly growing, innovative fintech company at the forefront of the forex industry. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to lead our finance team and drive our financial strategy forward.Key Responsibilities:1-Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets that support the company\'s growth and profitability goals.2-Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure timely, accurate, and regulatory-compliant financial reporting. Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.3-Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5-10 accountants, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous improvement within the finance team.4-Internal Controls & Risk Management: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets, identify financial risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.5-Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage the budgeting process, including setting budgets, monitoring performance, reporting variances, and conducting financial forecasting.6-Financial Systems: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems, including SAP, to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.7-Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for financial matters with internal and external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, regulatory bodies, and accounting partners.8-Board Advisory: Provide strategic financial insights to the Board of Directors, advising on the financial implications of business activities and capital structure.Requirements:1-Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.2-Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance, with significant exposure to the fintech or forex industry.3-Proven experience in a similar role within a financial services or fintech firm.4-Strong expertise in SAP and other financial management systems.5-Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of accountants, ensuring a high-performance culture.6-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.7-Knowledge of EU financial regulations and frameworks is a plus.8-Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.9-Deep understanding of the fintech/forex industry and its regulatory landscape.10-Experience in strategic financial planning and execution.11-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.12-Proficiency in Excel and advanced financial management software.13-Expertise in data analysis and financial forecasting methods.14-Full CA/CPA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.What is in it for you:1-Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
