Job Summary:

The Finance Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of the Finance and Accounts reporting activities including month end close activities, GST Compliance, Advance Income tax Calculation, compiling data and filing of TDS returns and any other compliance reporting as needed, compiling data for timely completion of Internal and Statutory audit., fixed asset reporting, coaching and guiding team members for vendor payments, TDS calculation, review fund management files, expense reimbursement files. Well versed with Tally application and exposure to Workday financial ERP system preferred


Essential Duties:


• Quality assurance and data integrity duties
• Responsible for reviewing accounting data entered by Finance analysts, ensuring proper reporting and data entry accuracy.
• Review and approve vendor payments, expense reimbursement payments, works on month end reporting package to US finance team
• In conjunction with Finance Director/Manager, plans appropriate staffing levels: interviews, selects, orients, and trains (overall work direction for the Finance group is provided by Finance Director/Manager)
• In conjunction with Finance Director/Manager, communicates performance expectations, provides feedback on performance, and provides recognition.
• Serves as a resource for other Finance analysts f who have questions regarding accounting, compliance - TDS, Income tax and GST procedures.
• Analyze and reconcile various Accounts prepare/review Fixed Asset Reporting.
• Work with other departments- Admin, payroll, HR, Talent acquisition and IT teams to collate data for timely completion of Internal and Statutory Audit
• Provide support to Finance Manager - for Tax and GST Audit
• Field, investigate, and answer complex Financial reporting and Accounting questions
• Training Finance analysts in the team

Minimum Requirements:


• Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounts.
• Education: CA Inter/CA completed candidates preferred
• Working knowledge of Tally is required
• Experience or working on Workday Financial ERP package is preferred
• Location: Bangalore (Willingness to work from office)
• Shift: Standard Indian shift / US/UK Overlap shifts)
