Open up opportunities with HPE.:In the Finance and Corporate Strategy team we ensure that the businesss capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused. This is how we work to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. By gathering and analysing financial data we can influence decisions within the business, drive initiatives, and help ensure alignment with our wider objectives.What youll do:Responsibilities:

  • Partner with various organizations as required (BU Finance, other Controllership functions, Sales and Operations, and IT) during the POR project life cycle
  • Analyze project scope to understand financial impacts
  • Ensure clear communication of End-to-End processes and the related system environments (including preparation of system flow diagrams and other functional documentation)
  • Partner with project team members to ensure system and process design meets requirements
  • Participate in the review of IT design and contribute to the optimal implementation to achieve the project objectives
  • Develop training documentation on changes to systems and lead training sessions as needed
  • Establish and maintain relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making
  • Support policy and identify opportunities for system controls and process improvements
  • Identify issues and propose solutions to more senior individual contributors or managers
  • Represent finance on cross functional teams
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to entry level analysts
What you need to bring:Education and Experience Required:\xc2\xb7 First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA)) preferred.\xc2\xb7 Typically 4+ years of experience as an IT developer, system analyst, SAP production support or financial analyst.\xc2\xb7 Typically experienced in more than one function.Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Strong knowledge about ERP system/tool (e.g. SAP)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Expert knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Advanced understanding of accounting principals
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize
