You have found the right team.As a Financial Analysis professional in our Corporate & Investment Banking, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firmYou will join the Forecasting Team and be responsible for managing the expense and headcount forecast file including Plan inputs from BMs. Driving budget rounds. Additional responsibilities include managing Indirect Expense allocation, Hierarchy for business units process for Support groups. Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) teams are responsible for a wide range of activities including financial control, forecasting and budgeting, analysis of financial/business metrics, delivery of weekly/monthly/quarterly management reporting, development of new reporting capabilities (e.g. dashboards), and advising the line of business CFOs on how to manage their expenses and Headcount as well as efficiencies in their LOBsYou will analyze, prepare, and reconcile financial data as well as prepare reports, while always thinking of and devising ways to streamline and minimize cycle times through automated applications and process improvement. You will also help develop recommendations effecting business procedures and operations and maintain financial and reporting systems. In addition, you will assist the department and other team members with automation projects or components of other projects as neededJob Responsibilities:

  • Serve as one of the points of contact for the Support and Risk group BMs and CFOs/CROs related to forecast and budget updates.
  • Work closely with BMs to collect headcount updates and calculate direct expenses budget.
  • Perform monthly forecast vs actual checks and updates forecast accordingly. Performing variance analysis to understand the key drivers of the results and presenting commentary to senior managers, explaining changes from prior forecasts/budgets
  • Participate in Monthly, Quarterly, and annual business reviews with CFOs. Manage Indirect expense allocation in and out from Support and Risk groups.
  • Manage Standard and alternate hierarchy submission for support groups. Ensure timely and accurate information delivery.
  • Conduct ad-hoc MIS reporting and analysis, in conjunction with other members of the team
  • Enhancing controls and streamlining processes, introducing automation where possible
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • CA/MBA (Finance) with minimum of 3-5 years Financial Service industry experience
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop relationship with other teams
  • Ability to multi-task multiple requirements under considerable time pressure. Maintain a high degree of accuracy and quality of work
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with data mining/gathering and manipulation of data sets
  • Ability to work with teams across different locations. Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly
