About this role:



Wells Fargo is seeking a financial accounting associate.



In this role, you will: • Provide support for financial accounting related matters for lines of business and control functions
• Review basic activities associated with maintaining ledger accounts, financial statements and regulatory reports
• Gather financial data for financial and regulatory reports
• Review data from the general ledger, unit reports and various financial systems to ensure accuracy
• Receive direction from managers and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of financial control functions in accordance with the company's internal control policies
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required experience: • 1+ months of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Financial Reporting, Accounting Reporting or Risk Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Job Expectatis: • Qualified CA/CFA/ICWA/ MBA finance with 2+y ears of experience in Finance & Accounting
• Significant experience in preparing end to end reconciliation, SEC and Regulatory reporting, preparation of Financial Statements
• Knowledge of US GAAP, particularly Accounting for Loans
• Control focused, knowledge of controls around reconciliations, Journal entries and Financial Reporting
• Liaise and effectively present owned processes to auditors, other teams
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Advanced Microsoft excel skills
• General ledger experience
• Ability to trace and investigate transactions to resolve questionable data and apply corrective actions when necessary

Job Expectations: • Shift : 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
• 3 days work from office.
