• Reconciling accounts : Reviewing the work of others to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Preparing audit workpapers : Researching and analyzing data to prepare workpapers for internal, external, and agency auditors
• Building budgets : Gathering information, analyzing financial data, and compiling the budget document
• Ensuring compliance : Making sure that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations
• Maintaining records : Organizing and maintaining financial records
• Making recommendations : Making best-practices recommendations to management
