Finance Specialist/Systems Accountant Department:Finance Corporate level:Associate Reports to:Senior Finance Specialist/Systems Accountant Location: India Apex Group Ltd. is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Finance Team as a systems accountant. The successful candidate will play an important role in the maintenance and development of the group\' financial and wider ERP platform and reporting capabilities, but other similar duties as required. There is an expectation to work proactively, independently when required, and as part of team. Job Specification You will be part of a team who support the finance business owner and the finance related activities of Apex\'s strategic ERP systems, primarily Workday, Salesforce, Xactly and Kyriba Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors of the ERP systems Helping with identifying and executing the application of ERP system changes to enhance business functionality, straight through processing and efficiency improvements Assisting the internal Integration team onboard new people and companies onto the ERP platforms Helping monitor external systems development road maps and recommend upgrade adoption and integration prioritisation together within internal training requirements Responsible for assisting with ERP and related finance systems upgrade projects Responsible for assisting all upgrade test procedures and coordination of relevant resource Assist with ERP customisation as required (working closely with IT) Responsible for the processing of period end routines including year-end Responsible for helping to maintain system integrity such as control account / sub-ledger & trial balance Helping to ensure integrity of data used for management reporting (both source systems and reporting warehouses) Support firm\'s accounting and reporting procedures and produce various regular and ad hoc data extractions / reports to supplement these processes Provision of second line support and troubleshooting / fixing systems related issues Working with relevant business process owners to coordinate resolutions for any user issues Skills Required You will ideally have a professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA or similar) Minimum of 3 years experience in similar, relevant role(s) Strong foundation in ERP platforms and maintenance together with data management/analytics Strong understanding of accounting under IFRS Strong self-starter, able to work independently and as part of an integrated team Clear organization skills and ability to articulate complex issues concisely Workday, SalesForce, PowerBI experience would be an advantage What You Will Get In Return A genuinely unique opportunity to be part of an expanding large global business.
