What this job involves

As a Sr. Manager for the JLLT Foundational Finance group, you will work alongside other finance leaders across the organization to drive outcomes that will improve efficiency and optimize the cost structure for the overall JLL business. You will be responsible for supporting business leaders in the Foundational area of JLLT with annual budgeting, forecasting, performance benchmarking, and strategic initiatives. Initial areas of focus include IT Infrastructure, Cloud and Security.



Key Responsibilities

• Drive analytical insights among business and finance leaders to influence decision making and operational transformation.
• Lead construction of complex financial models for leadership in support of strategic initiatives, e.g. optimization of cloud hosting costs.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and monitor performance metrics to enable faster, smarter decision making in a rapidly evolving environment.
• Build and maintain relationships with various Foundational business leaders and their teams.
• Demonstrate versatility through leading, project managing, and partnering closely with stakeholders in Finance and the business on cross functional initiatives that drive impact to broader JLL, e.g. allocation of Foundational costs to business segments.
• Partner closely with controllership to ensure the team follows accounting policies around opex and capex.
• Partner with finance functional partners in FP&A, AP, tax, treasury, and business operations.
• Serve as a mentor for analysts on the JLLT Finance team, including advising on day-to-day tasks, training and career development.
• Serve as a thought leader for the India team in close partnership with our JBS shared services, as we expand our CoE capabilities.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• 7 - 10+ years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years of progressive FP&A / strategic finance experience.
• Experience serving as the strategic lens for finance within a tech company, including a large public tech firm and/or PE portfolio company and/or startup.
• Experience supporting technology-oriented business partners (IT, Engineering, Product Management)
• Core involvement in strategic decision making, e.g. IT benchmarking, cost to serve, software vendor cost rationalization, or other critical finance initiatives.
• Process-orientation, and proficiency in building financial models from scratch.
• Ability to play the role of a cross functional leader, and to provide thought leadership on building CoE capabilities in partnership with our JBS shared services.
• Awareness of U.S. GAAP accounting principles.
• Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) performance results along with issues and their resolution to finance and business leadership.
• Strong interpersonal, consensus-building, and leadership skills in a collaborative setting.
• High comfort level interacting with and influencing executive-level professionals and acting as the "face" of the finance organization to the leadership team.
• Superior project management skills in a constantly changing environment.
• Creative problem solver who can identify and efficiently sort critical information while strategically planning for the future.
• Action oriented mindset - establishes and drives the operating plan; hyper organized, can lead across multiple (and at times competing) demands .
• Global agility - works effectively across cultures and JLL businesses to establish relationships adapting style and approach as needed; comfortable navigating ambiguity.
