Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced chartered accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be closely working with the CFO of the company and will be responsible for leading and oversee the entire general accounting as well as compliance requirements for the company. This position is expected to have a great sense of ownership, ability to identify process improvement opportunities, drive positive change across the organization and easy to work in cross functional departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and maintain accounting system to ensure proper accounting and reporting in line with the general framework of the company's overall accounting and reporting system and keeping strong control on the entire team handling the respective areas.
• Work closely with CFO for yearly/quarterly and monthly financial reporting's.
• Monthly closing of financial books as per the accounting standards and analyzing the key areas affecting the business and suggesting the CFO for adequate measures to be taken.
• Keep a tab on the entire compliance requirements of the company.
• Process development and implementation across all company locations and functions leveraging automation tools for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Imparting training to various stakeholders in the team on new processes.
• Implementing internal control mechanism and ensuring control policies like budget, costing and credit control policies are fully enforced and adhered, constantly vigilant, in the scope for reduction of costs through various means.
• Responsible for handling the company external and internal audit requirements.
• Designing and implementing internal audit plans and directing the audit team to follow the same and communicating the audit findings to CFO.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant
• Minimum 5+ year experience in team handling and corporate working in finance.
• Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards/Ind As and accounting policies.
• Experience of handling big 4 statutory audits and interal audits
• Experience in handling indirect and direct tax assessments
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
