Job Description

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a seasoned and strategic Head of Finance to lead our financial operations across our group of companies. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of finance, accounting, and financial reporting for multiple businesses, while also providing financial leadership and mentorship to a talented finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the entire financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process for the group, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Oversee the consolidation of financial statements for all group companies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
• Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including preparation of internal and external reports, and communication with auditors.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure financial compliance and best practices across the group.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate financial risks, with a particular focus on risks specific to the logistics and environment industries.
• Lead the development and implementation of long-term financial plans to support the group's strategic objectives, considering the financial implications of the logistics and environment sectors.
• Oversee the treasury function, including cash flow management, investment analysis, and banking relationships.
• Manage a team of finance professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
• Partner with business unit leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making, particularly regarding logistics and environmental initiatives.
• Stay abreast of current financial trends and regulations, especially those impacting the logistics and environment industries, and advise on their implications for the group.

Qualifications:

• CPA or equivalent professional designation.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably in a multi-company environment.
• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP or IFRS accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience managing and motivating a team of finance professionals.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and ERP systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
