As a Finance Manager at Hunger Inc. Hospitality, you will eat, sleep, and breathe numbers and ensure financial excellence in including budgeting, reporting, and statutory compliance across all Hunger Inc. brands. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the accounts team and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role will report to the Director of Finance of Hunger Inc. and will work out of our Head Office in Lal Baug (Mumbai), and out of our brand locations as required. Internal Audit: Leading an accounts team of 8 people, with overall responsibility of internal audit of the books in accounts payable & receivable, invoicing, expense tracking, purchasing, and ledger maintenance.
Budgeting & Fund Management: Responsible for the creation of monthly budgets, cash flow tracking, asset allocation
Co-creating processes: Identify operational inefficiencies & work with the director of finance and the accounts team to implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Compliance: Review and ensure compliance with GST, income tax, and other statutory compliances.
Reporting: Prepare monthly P&L and balance sheet along with variance analysis
Requirements Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant with 3 - 6 years experience.
Prior experience in an operating company as a manager, and experience with a fast-growing company will be a plus.
In-depth understanding of GAAP, reporting requirements, reconciliation, accounting and bookkeeping, accruals, and prepayments
Super levels of attention to detail to ensure books of accounts are 100% accurate.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Solid analytical skills, leadership qualities, team management capabilities, and ability to empathise and train teammates.
In-depth knowledge of Tally and competency in Excel and Google Suite.
High level of initiative, detail-oriented, and a team player with a positive attitude.
